I stayed for 3 nights and was quite disappointed with the lack of service. Despite paying full price, my room felt neglected with barely any housekeeping, and the coffee amenities were not restocked. To make matters worse, I was given a room with no view, just a wall, which didn’t match my expectations at all.

The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, but

we found the bathroom space to be a bit cramped. Overall, the staff was very accommodating and the amenities provided were a nice touch, especially the complimentary beach gear that made our daily outings so much easier.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The outdoor fire pit was a perfect spot to unwind at night, and we loved taking a dip in the heated swimming pool after exploring. Just a heads up, the parking can be a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle, but it didn't take away from our great time overall. 🌊

Perfect for families wanting sun and fun

The location was spot on! Right across from the beach, we spent hours relaxing and watching the surfers catch waves. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and attentive, especially Prudence who helped with breakfast.

What a delightful surprise! Waking up to dolphins frolicking in the ocean each morning was a treat. The team here was incredibly kind, going out of their way to make our family feel special, even sharing apples with us during breakfast! The views from the deck made dining a memorable experience. Highly recommend this spot!

Although I enjoyed a cozy King Room with a fireplace, the real highlight was the staff's hospitality. I appreciated the complimentary beach toys for my toddler, but be prepared for limited breakfast options. For a better experience, grab breakfast elsewhere. Parking is an extra charge!

My stay at the Best Western in Carlsbad impressed me. The ocean view from my balcony delighted me each morning while relaxing by the fire pit added charm. The coffee left something to be desired, but the warm and friendly staff made up for it, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout.

It was just a proper fit for a short stay in Carlsbad with the best value. Enjoyed a nice bath in the room which made up for the lack of a hot tub. Make sure to book a room with a better view than what I got.
